MUDMASKY Vitamin-A Booster Blue Clay Mask

I first tried MUDMASKY’s Vitamin-A Booster Blue Clay Mask because it came in one of my FabFitFun seasonal boxes. And just like the name suggests, this mask is actually blue!

My sensitive skin loves the fact that this face mask is fragrance-free; the “animal lover” in me, loves the fact that it is PETA Certified and also 100% Vegan!

What are the skin benefits of this product? Pore refining, smoothing, brightening, firming, and tightening! This mask absorbs dirt from pores making it great for reducing acne. It noticeably plumps the skin after just the first application.

What are the benefits of each ingredient? The combination of the Kaolin Clay and Bentonite Clay removes dirt and bacteria from the pores which helps treat acne and clear up blackheads. The clays also absorb excess oil. Blue Lotus Flower Water helps rebalance, rehydrate, and smooth the skin (and is also responsible for the blue color of this mask). Bakuchiol (a natural alternative to retinol) firms, tightens, and plumps the skin. Bakuchiol also has brightening properties, which helps even out uneven skin tone!

How to apply: Apply a thin, even layer to your face. Allow the clay to dry for about 7-11 minutes. This mask dries fast!

How to remove: I wet a washcloth with warm water and a pump of my cleanser. Cleanse your face in circular motions. Splash face with cold water to close pores, then pat dry. Finish with a toner, then your regular skin care products. My favorite toner is Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel, it costs less than $5 for a 16 fl oz container!
